Groundbreaking, also known as cutting, sod-cutting, turning the first sod or a sod-turning ceremony, is a traditional ceremony in many cultures that celebrates the first day of construction for a building or other project. Our ceremonies include dignitaries relevant to the stakeholders of the project, local government officials and elders of the land on which the construction is taking place.

This particular event was the Groundbreaking ceremony for St Leonards Square, St Leonards. Mister Milford were tasked with making the construction site an elegant and sophisticated space to reflect the vision for the end product of the St Leonard Square development.

Florals adorned the entranceway, marquee and outdoor spaces with a grazing table for morning tea, coffee, tea and fresh juice spritz. Gold plated shovels with branding were the choice for the turning of the first sod and site bathrooms were given the VIP treatment with luxury soaps, candles and lotions.
